Ben Gerstel Architecture can provide a variety of services from partial services up to and including lodging a Development Application to Council or providing an architectural full service from the initial client meeting to the completion of the building work. The following are the stages of a full service:
Design:
Where the architect interprets the clients brief and starts designing.
Design and Development:
Where the design is further developed including input from the structural engineer.
Council Lodgement:
Submitting the plans for the Development Application to Council and or lodging for Complying Development.
Documentation:
Completing all the details and specification for the design to form a tender package for the builders to price.
Tendering:
Where a group of selected builders submit their price on the tender package.
Contract Administration:
Contract administration is where the architect administers the building contract between the client and the builder through to practical completion
Ben can recommend the various consultants necessary for your project such as engineers, surveyors and bushfire consultants required to achieve an approved and creative design.
